Happy Saturday, ladies!

Since the eyeliner gels took on the market, I feel people (including me) kind of forgot about the liquid eyeliners. I myself prefer an  eyeliner gel over a liquid one and they became my new beayty addiction. I plan to talk in other post about te pros and cons of gel eyeliners and liquid eyeliners, right now I want to focus on 2 of my most beloved liners, both are NYX Studio Liquid Liners, in the shades SLL101 Extreme Blue and SLL104 Extreme Purple. Don't get wrong, I love a black eyeliner to death, but now and then I love to "spice things up" a bit and incorporate a nice, vibrant color even in a day make-up look.

Extreme Blue is vibrant glossy royal blue, with no shimmer or glitter, but realy intense.

Extreme Purple is also a vibrant purple shade, intense and with no shimmer or glitter.

I won't lie, I was attracted mainly by the shades, I absolutely love this type of blue called "Cobalt Blue" or "Royal Blue", it's not too navy or too light.

They come with a pretty long applicator with a tiny brush, a little hard to handle, but if you take your time it this, you can get perfect lines, both thin and thicker. If you're in a hurry, you better choose another type of eyeliner, as the secret to apply the liquid one without getting messy or ruining your make-up is to take your time with it. Once it dried out, don't worry, it won't budge for hours (over primer of course). I usually wear my make-up every day up to 12 hours and it's still intact when I take it down.

I usually don't enjoy the consistancy of liquid liners, but these NYX ones are really nice, not too liquidy or too thick. I feel that Extreme Blue has a much better formula than Extreme Purple as the former is a more watery and it doesn't glide on skin as nice as the first and it leaves some streaks behind. But it's no biggie, I can definitely work with both of them.

They don't claim to be waterproof but I had no issues even though I have fairly watery eyes, but then again I only use liquid liners on my upper lid, not on my waterline (that would be insane!).

Here's how they look on after they dry out, I love the glossy look they have, this is what an liquid liner stand by out by opposes to pencils or gel liners. One little downside is the fact they peel when took off with make-up remover, so you will see patches and they may require some extra cleaning, but for this is not a real issue, they are so special so I can forgive them that. Moreover, almost all liquid liners peel off when removed so it's the formula that works that way.

I bought these from The Make-up Shop, one online and one at Cosmobeauty last year, they are really afordable so if you're in need of some funky coloured eyeliners or just your regular black or brown, I should definitely give them a try. My favourite is obviously Extreme Blue and I would surely buy it again if I ever run out!

Are you liquid liner kind of girl or love to stick to gel and pencil formulas?
