Va spuneam in postarea de ieri ca nu ma atrag foarte mult fardurile de pleoape de tip crema sau gel si totusi culoarea m-a convins sa achizitionez primul meu Maybelline Color Tattoo 25 HR in nuanta 35 - On and on Bronze. De abia dupa ce l-am folosit de cateva ori mi-am dat seama ca seamana fooarte bine cu un alt fard de pleoape crema din "colectia" mea, Essence Stay all day long lasting eyeshadow in nuanta Coppy Right.
I was telling you in yesterday's post that I'm not very attracted to cream or gel eyeshadows and still the color convinced me to buy my first Maybelline Color Tattoo 25 HR in 35 - On and on Bronze. Only after a few uses I realized that looks just like another cream eyeshadow from my "collection", Essence Stay all day long lasting eyeshadow in Coppy Right.
On and on Bronze was a pleasant surprise for me speaking of cream eyeshadows, as its texture is so different from what I've tried before. It's true I didn't test a lot of cream, gel or liquid eyeshadows as I don't particulary love the finish and they crease after a few hours even using primer. From my experience, this kind of eyeshadows have either a very light texture, sheer, see through and they need to build up in order to obtain a good intensity and pigmentation, either the texture is heavy, pigmented but very hard to blend/uniformize. This one's texture is very light but pigmented, it needs only a little product that can be very easiley blended with my fingers.
And that's saying something...
About the resistancy, I can only praise it, even after more than 12 hours of wear and some sleep with the make-up on, it still looked intact. And that's saying something...
I think of it as a multipurpose product, as it can be used simple, as an eyeshadow, as a base for intensifying a dry eyeshadow, as a glam eyeliner, as highlighter on the eyebrow (for those with a darker complexion)...
Here are some photos with the jar, which I like a lot:).
On the other side there is Coppy Right from Essence, an eyeshadow that I've got during a blogsale. In the pictures you'll see that's identical with On and on Bronze, but as a texture, they are totally different. It's drier than On and on Bronze, it's harder to get from the jar and applying it is not so easy. It doesn't crease at all, but it's very heavy on the eye so I've used it more in evening make-up.
Iata si cele doua borcanase unul langa altul, On and on Bronze este mai mare decat Coppy Right si este in borcanas de sticla, in timp ce Coppy Right este in borcanas de plastic.
Here are the two jars next to each other, On and on Bronze is bigger thanCoppy Right and it's in a glass jar while Coppy Right is in a plastic jar.
Daca in recipiente, fardurile sunt diferite, in swatch-uri, culorile sunt aproape identice.
Primul (sau cel de sus in unele poze) este On and on Bronze iar celalalt este Coppy Right. Chiar si pentru swatch, m-am chinuit putin sa uniformizez culoarea pentru Coppy Right, fiind mult mai uscat decat On and on Bronze.
If in the jars they look different, in swatches the colors are almost identical. On the eye they look also different, but that's because of the texture, the quantity and the way they blend.
I took many pictures to catch the differences between these two, in natural light, indoor and with blitz. The first (or the upper one in some photos) is On and on Bronze and the other one is Coppy Right. Even for the swatch, it was a little hard to uniformize the color for Coppy Right, as it's drier than On and on Bronze.
I'd be tempted to say that Essence is a dupe after Color Tattoo, but this one is newer on the market... I love both but I definitely prefer On and on Bronze, which is more versatile and easy to use. About the price, Color Tattoo is more expensive than Essence, about double.
