Hi!

Today I would like to talk about the cleansing milk from Bioten with honey and thyme. As the make up addict that I am, I also need a matching cleanser. I like the fact it's a romanian product, now that I think about it, lately I've been using more and more inland products. I love also the fact it's destined for mixte skin, there aren't many special cleansers for the unhappy owners of a skin with oily & dry tendency.

You can find it in any drugstore or market place as all products from Elmiplant, given that Bioten is an independent new range in Elmiplant's portofolio. It costs around 3 Euro, so the quality-quantity-price balance is more than fair, in my view, for the 200 ml.

Those of you who used other Bioten products, know that they don't have parabens, like all Elmiplant products, but isn't also a bio product, even though the name might suggest it. It's more a cleanser with a higher content of natural substances, mostly honey and thyme extract.

It's efficient, it really cleans the skin, even the waterproof make ups, it moisturises and leaves the skin velvety,  without being only, as other cleansers usually do. For me is very important that it's very delicate withe skin around my eyes, where I used to iritate because of some cleansers that needed to insist. Moreover, it has a nice smell, honey like, but not very persistant or heavy.

I only have one complaint about the packaging. Yes, is nice from vizual point of view, and it has a clean aspect, but functionally, it's pretty hard to use after it's consumated more that 1/4, because it's very difficult to get out of the bottle. I keep with the bottom up so that I can use it easier, but I have to be carefull as I might squeeze more than I need. I think a pump would be perfect, I really hope they'll reconsider the packaging.

Overall, I'm a satisfied client and I'm delighted that's a romanian product of a superior quality compared to other cleansing products from lux ranges. It reminds me of  Doina vitamin milk, very much used by our mothers and grandmothers. I gladly recomand it for all ladies that are in search of an efficient cleansing and moisturising product.

More information from the producer you can find here. Isn't that a cute site?:)

What do you use for cleansing? What other romanian products for skin cleansing do you use?
