Am ramas un pic in urma cu postarile de tip NOTD, astfel ca astazi va arat o manichiura de saptamana trecuta. In ultimul weekend din iunie am avut mai mult timp pentru unghii si m-am gandit sa incerc un lac nou, primit cadou de pe Fragrance Direct, Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Extrem in nuanta Purple Pizzaz. Desi la prima vedere, mi s-a parut ca e un lac foarte subtire si transparent si deja ma gandeam ca imi vor trebui 3-4 straturi pentru o opacitate si acoperire completa, nu a fost deloc asa. S-a aplicat foarte usor, fara dungi, si din doua straturi a devenit opaca. Si se usuca si foarte repede.
Purple Pizzaz este o nuanta frumoasa de mov, care nu seamana cu alte lacuri de unghii in aceeasi culoare (cel putin nu din ce am mai vazut/incercat eu), prin faptul ca are o textura ca de lac gelly si contine niste particule fine de shimmer auriu-rozaliu, care se vad cel mai bine la soare.
I'm a little behind with NOTD posts, so today I'll show you a mani from last week. in the last June weekend, I had a little more time for my nails so I thought to try a new nail polish I got from Fragrance Direct, Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Extrem in Purple Pizzaz. Even though at first look, it seemed like a very thin and see-through lacquer and I was already thinking that I'll need 3-4 coats for a complete opacity and coverage, it wasn't at all like this. It applied like a dream, no strays and 2 coats were enough for opacity. And it dries out pretty quickly.
Purple Pizzaz is a very beautiful purple, that's not at all like other nail polishes in the same range of colors (at least not from what I saw/tried), as it has a gelly texture and contains some very small shimmery particles in pink-gold, that are better seen in the sun.

Am facut mai multe fotografii incercand sa prind sclipirile aurii-rozalii ale ojei, dar tot nu mi se pare ca fotografiile ii fac cinste ojei.
I took many pictures trying to "catch" the lovely golden-pink shimmer, but I still don't think the pictures do justice to this nail polish.

Ca base coat si top coat am folosit Nail Expert Manicure Silky Base Coat & Top Coat Miss Sporty, pe care am ajuns sa il indragesc foarte tare.
Am ramas foarte impresionata de rezistenta lacului, a tinut aproape o saptamana, ce-i drept cu top coat, fara sa se cojeasca sau sa sara, incepuse sa se vada doar la baza unghiei, cat crescuse.
As a base coat & top coat I used Nail Expert Manicure Silky Base Coat & Top Coat Miss Sporty, that I love it very much.
I left very impressed with how much it holds on the nails, almost a week, with top coat, without chiping, only at the base of the nail was noticeable how much the nail grew.
